Alright, I don't have all of my thoughts in order, i just need something to put my thoughts to so that i can get them out. So if i seem to jump around, or make no sense whatsoever...don't worry about it...it probably makes about the same amount of sense to me

I know you said you're not looking for suggestions...I've got a few anyway. Feel free to ignore 'em.

1) Don't give up. From what you've said, this relationship sounds like a good thing for you and for her.

2) No, I don't think it should be you sitting down and talking to her parents about them trying to control her life. It needs to be *her* doing that. It's her place to do so, and she needs to do so if she's going to establish any independence in *their* minds.

That said, why haven't we met this girl yet? *g*

exactly dave...i've tried telling her the same thing, and i think shes very slowly starting to get the hint. unfortunatly i think its hard for her especially in the situation she's in. Being not only the oldest, but also one of the more"promising" children in the family.

and suggestions are always appreciated...as for when you'll meet her, as soon as i can get her thursdays or saturdays off so she can come to a meeting or activity.*g*

THIS is exactly why I don't tell my parents about my relationships. They'd react in about the same way.
