This is gonna bug me now. I'm a nerd, a huge fan of science (rather than politics) and I'm a skeptic. I think too much basically, and I love knowing how stuff works, from quantum mechanics in electrical systems to gravitational interactions in the large scale structure of our universe...and as such I watch a lot of scifi. BSG and the Firefly/Serenity franchise are particular favourites. And while I let them get away with a lot, for some reason I've just got annoyed how noone has explained how they can float around the outside of a ship, but as soon as they breach the hull they experience normal gravity. It's been explained in the Stargate Universe show with the bigassed ship having the forcefield thingy...but how people!! HOW DOES IT WORK!!

second rant. the one person I ever feel I can air my fears and frustrations with is my girlfriend, and that is also definitely one person who I dont want to know all my fears and frustrations, and also, once I find myself a decent girlfriend, I no longer have any fears and frustrations. its my own fault, I came back for something that wasnt there, then was shocked when it all went to shit.
