Okay you clearly know much more about csi than I do, cause I missed most of the last season. catherine/warrick was actually hinted at in canon? Or at least catherine liking warrick? Because when she admitted that it TOTALLY threw me for a loop. Five minutes later I was still going "what the hell? O.o o.O" It feels a little weird, because isn't she a lot older than him, besides being his superior?
Great take on Nick's reaction to the bug... you're right, it was subtle, and I love that he's doing relatively ok but he's still vulnerable. Aw. Nicky! *squishes*
I might be a Gil/Nick shipper after that finale. God.
Liquid bodies SO gross. Not okay at all.
The one complaint I have about this ep is the actual plot... it consisted of three cases, none of which I really cared much about (even the dad who lost his daughter showed almost no emotion! Wtf?) and it seemed kind of atypical that csi was delving more into characters than into the intricacies of a case. It was weird. Not altogether bad, but weird.

Walt creepy. Ummm... I had lots and lots and LOTs of thoughts on this on my journal, so I'm thought-ed out. But QUESTIONS OMG.
Also? I heart Kate, greatly. I have no idea why I'm so along in that. And the Jack/Kate moments made me squee with glee.

Luke and Lorelei better work out OR ELSE! *flail* Ithought it was interesting that all the buildup over the summer was "what will luke say?!" and then in the first 10 seconds he's like "...Yes." I thought that was kind of clever of them, because it was a funny and quirky way to diffuse all that tension. The focus of the ep wasn't even really on them. And I hope Rory gets her act together because bad!Rory is just not as entertaining. I want my mother daughter banter back, kthx.
And I heart you talking to spider, hee! I don't talk to it, I just freeze and stare it down, like I can scare it into just keeling over so I don't have to squish it and hear/feel the crunch... *shudder*

There's been some long looks and pregnant pauses full of meaning, that sort of thing. Nothing overt. :)

I think the superior thing is what kept her in check. The age thing never struck me as being important to either one of them. Plus Warrick gets along so well with her daughter Lindsay.

Totally agree. But then I don't think we were really supposed to care all that much. The focus was definitely on the characters, like you said. After all these months, I was more interested in the people and how they've been dealing since the kidnapping. ;)
