Hog Island Sheep
I have a contact who knows a 4-H'er who may be getting rid of a small flock of Hog Island sheep, the same sheep you can visit in Williamsburg. Is anyone interested? This is a breed which is still listed as "critical" (less than 200 sheep) on the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy list.RIP, Shrek the Sheep

I read a cute note on one of my newslists about a woman's "flerd." This is what she calls the one group of sheep/goats on her farm that are actually operating as a single entity. She's got a goat matron and a second-in-command sheep.
