Shipoopi in drag

So here I am on Friday, writing about the events of Wednesday evening, and I'm sure you've already read about it in Mallory and/or Chase and or Kelsee's journals and it was probably much funnier, but I haven't had the time to update this. So anyway, at rehearsal that night it was a run-through, or in other words, improv-your-head-off-night. So when Marian was singing "Goodnight my Someone", David and Mallory waltz across the stage grinning, unbeknownst to Marian. The a few more people come, and then there are like 5 couples dancing and everybody is laughing, and Marian doesn't know why, and so she looks back to see the chaos. Then after everything clears, and the song is nearly over, Greg and Carl waltz gaily across the stage, eliciting uproarious laughter. Needless to say, Bethany (Marian) was rather P.O.'d.
Then when the quartet was singing "Goodnight Ladies" They changed the words to "Goodnight Hookers".
The climax, though, was when in Shipoopi, everyone traded costumes with their partners, putting the guys (yes, including myself, I admit) in dresses. And now I know how hard it is to dance in a dress. David was his normal promiscuous self but in a dress it's even funnier. Lots of shakin' whatcho mama gaveya.
It was hiLARious.
Oh and also for the chase scene, when the mayor says "after him" Kali pulls a gun and a mounty hat from behind her back and strikes a "mounty barbie" pose. That was great.
Oh man and I also found out that Rey, the director from Peter Pan, is a bi. It made me sad. He was my favorite director ever. Well, between him and Jimmy there's not much of a contest but still, he was cool.
