La Grande Adventure: Day 1
and so it begins...
today i got dropped off at the oakland airport at 930 for a flight at 1130 (my mom had to go to work after) so i was bored and had to hang out for 2 hrs. then a five hour flight showing no good movies, and you had to pay for them too. but as it was jetblue they also had free direct tv, so i spent the whole time watching food network, are you being served, and hello, dolly! but the channels were so far away from each other, and you couldn't jump between them, so i think my neighbor thought i had terrets.
anyway five hours passed and i arrived in NEW YORK!! there i quickly met up with kristina and we caught a shared bus to my aunt naomi's place in the upper east side (and i now know what that means!!). then we chatted with naomi for a while, got the tour and set up the bed and now i am informing you of my relatively uneventful day.
