2015 is here.

It finally feels like a new year is here, because projects that are only about 2015 have begun! Construction is in full swing, and the actual kennel and upstairs apartment/office is officially being built. I really wasn't sure if those would've been those long talked about dreams or actual occurrences, so I haven't said too much, but we are definitely at the growing pains point where it was much needed. There are some bigger plans this year that this will be needed for - Travis wants some non-dog vacations (haha, what's that?!), more ability to go to a show for a weekend without Travis watching the extra dogs, more family events, and some more availability of boarding for dogs I like. The plan right now is there will be 7 indoor / outdoor kennels, room for hot/cold dog bath, freezer so I can do more raw feeding (though I'll always be doing kibble as well, my life is too crazy to just do raw), and our house being less dog friendly and more people friendly. There are some rough puppy plans in the works, and wanting more space and time and ability to do more training. Aww, so many great things to come. The upstairs will have all of my office / quilting stuff, which means our house will have less clutter and have room for guests, one to two dogs, and whatever else comes our way in the next couple of years.

Now that the trial is almost all wrapped up (I just have to send off the paperwork to ASCA today), I feel like I have hosting a bit more figured out, and am looking forward to the future trials being a little less busy on my end of things.

And of course, this gorgeous sunshine makes it hard to NOT be outside, so I've done lawn mowing, some running of dogs, and we got an updated group photo. In order of age of course ;)
