...because at the end of the day, pretty much any complaint i have about new york (and they are many) is outweighed by all the great things about living here. but it just defies logic as to how 3 1/2 inches of rain, which given is a lot, and given came down very suddenly, can shut down a public transit system as massive, complex, and old as the new

Bay Ridge Tragedy! Yeah, I slept until noon that day. I think people like the fact that New York is always in a state of decay. It is somehow authentic to the real New York or some bullshit.
