Ah, so long between updates.
But, well, nothing much happens in my life that I feel like blogging about.
I'm doing well, no complaints. Got an e-mail from a friend who I thought had abandoned me saying hew was sorry and felt terrible and missed me. So that was nice. His bf is still threatened by me, though, so we still can't talk, but it was really nice to know he was actually thinking of me.
Also a bit miffed a friend I was supposed to visit, but issues came up so I couldn't. Since then he seems like he's been avoiding talking to me and a number of other people, not sure why, and perhaps it's just my imagination, but who knows, really.

Now. For the real reason I'm posting this: I want to see if "Crafting: Your mats" works in real life. I'm thinking probably not, but who knows.
I recently came across this cute knitted kitty pattern . It's easy to make, and if you know how to knit at all you can make one easily. It takes almost no time to do, as well. So! It's perfect for this experiment!
So here's the deal. You send/give me a skein of yarn and I'll knit you a cat. That it, really! I actually can modify it a bit so it's smoother ( stockinette, for those of you in the knit know ) and I can also brush it when I'm done making it fluffy, so you have smooth, bumpy, and fuzzy for your choices. On the subject of fluffy if you want me to use one of those furry novelty yarns I'll also need a skein of matching normal yarn. The fluffiness with that type of yarn is different than the brushed look. I'm not sure what happens when I brush something made with fuzzy fur, but I intend to try it out and post pictures as well. The size varies depending on the yarn but they're fairly small, I'd say about the size of a beanie baby, really.
So! Any takers? Any yarn will do, really, even the less-than-$3-RedHeart stuff at Wal*Mart.
Oh, I probably won't use the entire skein, but wouldn't mind keeping the extra. :F If you want it back that's cool, too. Or I could try eeking out two kitties, I'm not sure how much it actually takes. My e-mail is redwaltz@gmail.com, feel free to e-mail me for detail, my address, whatever. :)
