*hugs* Thanks. I'm coping with it all but there are days when I just want to throw things and scream. Pointless as all it would do is scare my cats and I won't do that to them.
I learned a long time ago that idiocy can not be countered with logic. Thus, I choose neutrality.
As far as my family is concerned, I'm staying out of it as much as I can.
As far as where we'll be living and when we do move, we have at least 3 months before they can make us move. If they don't give us the proper notice we'll be reporting them to the rentals board and we'll simply move during the next few months without worrying about whether it's one month or three from now. Somebody is always home so we aren't worried about being locked out.
Carvis starts classes next month so I'm hoping to get some alone time or at least as much as possible with Merc sleeping during the day. I just need to get Mouse out once in a while. her group sessions will be ending in the middle of Sept and hopefully her individual therapy will start shortly afterward.
Oh geez, I'm sorry to hear about everything going wrong! I totally understand family feuds and people acting like children with petty grudges, lord knows I have plenty of that in my own family. It's incredibly stressful for those stuck in the middle.
And your landlord situation sounds crazy. No way they can make you move with two weeks notice (that would be insane, you'd never find something good AND move in that short a time frame), you guys can definitely fight that, especially if you have a binding lease to protect you. It kind of sounds like they are trying to bully you out of the place.
I'm staying out of the family drama as much as I can. It helps that I'm the one being ignored too. It just leaves me as the only conduit between my sister and the rest of my family. I would like to believe that if I don't pass news on to them that they'll realize I won't pass news on to her but that level of intelligence seems to be missing. There's a limit to what I'll accept for behaviour towards me

Mold is a serious health hazard! I'm surprised your landlord has been able to ignore that one for so long. Mold and mildew are really dangerous, and if it's in the walls then that means there's probably some decay going on, and that needs to be taken care of properly, not just cleaned away from view on the surface
