housemate wanted

Jan 16, 2008 17:04

So it has been a while since i last posted but i recently realised i only write when i am confused about something. This means the longer between posts the smoother my life is. Or at least less confusing.

This time I have been considering the nature of emails/ finding a new housemate and the concept of judging and being judged by people. I have advertised on the internet for a new housemate and my add was pretty generic but ended with please tell me something about yourself. So far four people have responded each telling only a small amount about themselves. Fair enough in the first instance at least, but after replying to their enquiries and asking them to drive past the house and let me know if they are still interested none have emailed back. Are they not interested? Or are they busy or are they just plain rude. It annoys me to think that I am sitting around waiting for someone to email me so I can organise a face to face. And these peopl couldn't even be bothered to tell me that the house isn't what they are looking for. grrr! I am not about to give up just yet. I just hate the idea that they have judged my little house wrongly. It might not look much on the outside but it is pretty great inside and people should at least give that a chance.

Anyway gotta go and check my email again. Maybe this time I will get a good response. PS the new job is good by putting out fires really frustrates the hell out of me. Also me bot got a temporary promotion too. Hear me humm "we're in the money..." :)
