Privacy?

So,i've been thinking. Intimatestranger thinks that LJ should be private/friends only due to our line of work and worry over whether it is unethical to talk about work in LJ on the off chance that someone might recognize who we are talking about. I think that it defeats the whole purpose of LJ. I want to write so that people random and friends can ( Read more... )

Re: writing about work. I think, in general, it's fine. I've never seen specific references to a client in either yours or mine. And I know if I write something like "I was deeply moved by a client today who was bedbound, but still felt engaged to the world" no one is going to know who that is. That could be any number of people I see.

Re: teachers. I have no thoughts really. All I have experience of is OT, where everyone is too nice to each other (like they're on drugs or something, but in a good way). But I guess we have more of a consultative role, so we do feel like we're getting attention. I'm glad to see you're posting about this stuff though.
