What a difference a week makes
Can't believe it was only last weekend that I was at the Belgian GP! Was surprised at how many people I knew on the trip. Select has a lot of repeat business and I knew keeley and Debbie were going but also met up with Mark and Anna at Victoria and I can't even remember what trip I met them on before. Do remember bumping in to them at Silverstone but I think it must have been in 2011. Sure you can do GPs independently and some of them like Silverstone and Monaco I would alsways do on my own now but ones like Spa are great to do on a trip cos you get to meet so many other f1 fans. managed to meet Ed on the Thursday too although I missed him the rest of the weekend - Spa is much bigger than Monaco!
Anyway it was back to work on Tuesday and had an interview for the assistant managers job. Found out on Wednesday that I'd got the job and although officially I don't start until tomorrow I pretty much started on Thursday as Sarah was out of the office. I'm gonna be really busy i can tell and I'm going to have to get myself organised.
Had a works night out on Thursday. Did a booze cruise round Bristol harbour. Good night, and I stayed at the Travelodge instead of getting a taxi home as it was the same price. Worked well and I could walk to work on Friday morning.
Got 4 and a half days to work now and then a week in Cornwall!
