MOD POSTMany of you probably haven't heard yet....but the Boston Red Sox won the World Series this year. Now you might think that the only people who could possibly find a negative to that are the assbags who work at WEEI. But unfortunately the mods here have noticed another negative. Well said. Even as a long-standing member of this community, I have felt the need to post more. I have won and resisted. But on a happy less-modlike note - I'm enjoying celebrating with everyone here!

I am also in fact short, fat, and bald.
So if you are looking to insult me you might start with something like:

"You have less range than Jeter"

You may get banned, but at least I would ACTUALLY be insulted.

Point being: Well put.

Second point: Now that we're headed into the offseason/free agent feeding frenzy, don't post pointless rumors. You hear something, you give a source. Period. Not 'The guy behind the counter at Store 24 told me that he heard on the radio that we were going to sign Jon Lieber for Eleventy million per year.' You hear it on the radio, you wait until you get another source. That's how ridiculous rumors get started.

(If we even look at Jon Lieber, I'm going to shoot someone.)
