My encounter with the living legend.

So yesterday I went to the game with my dad. We left from his house in deep Western Mass around 11:45. Anyway, this means we arrived at the general Fenway area around 2:30. He wanted to get a hat, so we walked over to the Team Store. I notice over in a corner, that there's a crowd of about 15 people gathered around someone in a chair. I walk over, and who else is there but Johnny Pesky himself. We hung around for about 10 minutes or so, and I ended up getting my hat signed. I have to say that he's one of the nicest and funniest people I've ever had the honor to meet.

In general, here's an update on Johnny. He's still in the boot, and getting around with a cane, but he's in great spirits. I can't believe my luck.

Man, I love going to Fenway. You never know what's going to happen.
