Conservatives want to be right so bad that they are willing to destroy the earth rather than admit they are wrong about this war.

I’m much less interested politics these days, but I still get upset. I’m not happy with shrub and his new court nominee. I figure it is not worth fighting though. It is time to prepare for the next step, the battle to create a constitutional amendment giving the rights implied by the status of Roe vs. Wade.

My impression in the first 20 pages is that is has the flavor of a romance novel (none of which I have read, but it has that overly puffed up, flowery, style); that is, it has a style that should tell you this is not for intellectual content. I just heard Rumsfeld interviewed on CNN. Wolf Blitzer was the interviewer; this was the first time I had heard him, he does a real interview. Not that it matters, Rumsfeld is a master.
