Game recap

All hail gmudemocrat, prognosticator sans comparaison! :-) I wish I had seen the game, but the highlights I've seen and the recaps I've read make it sound like it was a nailbiter, especially with Ngata taking down RG3 near the end of the game. Cousins is being described as having Larry Bird-like levels of coolness, which is awesome in any backup, let alone a rookie, let alone a rookie being asked to come in and play up to the standard that Griffin has set.

As always, mad props to RB Alfred Morris, who managed more running yards (well, OK, one more running yard, but still) than the Ravens' marquee player, RB Ray Rice!

Alas, with both the Giants and Cowboys winning, we remain one game behind the G-men and ahead of the Cowpies by only the tiebreaker (which will be evened out in the last game of the season). But it's a race to the finish, and it looks like the Redskins have the easiest road to the end of the season. Here are the rest of the games, with bolded teams being teams actively looking for a playoff berth:
Redskins: Cleveland (5-8), Philadelphia (4-9), Dallas (7-6) (Total current record: 16-23)
Giants: Atlanta (11-2), Baltimore (9-4), Philadelphia (4-9) (Total: 24-15)
Cowboys: Pittsburgh (7-6), New Orleans (5-8), Washington (7-6) (Total: 19-20)
