I think (think) they attempted to address the question of why would Future Hiro go back to rescue Charlie if she had in fact been rescued by Future Hiro already, and I believe their conclusion was that Future Hiro told Past Hiro that Charlie had been killed and he had to try to save her, so past Hiro will continue to believe Charlie has been killed right up until the... present. I don't know if that would actually work or not, but at least the writers noticed the problem...
I have to say it was really weird seeing Hiro actually get seriously angry at somebody. He's usually so bouncy. That bit with Samuel in the end was surprisingly intense. Kind of shows how his bouncy character could become like Future Hiro from Season 1...

The flowers and plants that were produced were wonderful. I'd always imagined that plasticine was American, so was delighted to learn that it was invented in England. And was stunned at the brilliant, bright colours they had. My chief memory of plasticine's colour is a marbled effect that became murkier and murkier.
