I tend to take a "expect the unexpected" approach, but if I wholeheartedly believe it'll be disappointing rubbish, will that make it a work of genius, or just disappointing and rubbish on a scale I wasn't previously able to imagine? That's the question.

If last night's episode proved anything, it's that Bret looks better dressed up as Jemaine than Jemaine looks dressed up as Bret. Well, that and the fact that mpreg is never not funny.

Any earth-shaking climax that Torchwood can produce will probably pale into insignificance beside the apocalyptic reign of the ticky boxes, that's for sure. But yes, passable entertainment is all I really demand. I only hope I'm not asking too much.
