Eeeeeee I LOVED The Power Of Three- maybe because it was in comparison to the rather underwhelming episode before, maybe because it felt like a RTD episode, I don't know. But PONDS! OT3! Domesticity! :DDD
Things:
- Rory in his pants!
- The scientist lady, didn't catch her name, but she was awesome
- BRIAN COX
- The Doctor just deciding to become part of Amy and Rory's lives. Ughh
- All the RTD-vibes: the news report montages, earth-based mysteries, strange military organisations (actually, who directed this?)
- Amy and Rory being adults! With jobs!
- Rory kissing the Doctor on the cheek and Amy's happy dance :D
- Rory's dad asking the hard questions... foreshadowing for the next episode? PONDS BETTER NOT BE DYING, OK.
- Amy was the first face this version of the Doctor ever saw... oh. This whole conversation was lovely.
- The fact that Rory just jumps straight through the wibbly lift wall :D
- AMY AND RORY WHEELING RORY'S DAD BACKWARDS WHILE HE STRADDLES THE WHEELIE BED, OH MY GOD IDEK BUT I CRACKED UP.
- Oh OK everything's just fixed like that, that's fine..
- Emotional montage with uplifting music, of course
- "Actually it's you they can't give up" THANKS RORY'S DAD FOR SHIPPING THE OT3 TOO. I SHOULD LEARN HIS NAME. OH, BRIAN?
- Aaaand episode name drop
Well, new episode in a few hours! :D Looking good too... I swear peeps on Tumblr came up with the whole "Statue of Liberty is a weeping angel but is always being watched", didn't they? Keen for the angels to come back because I think they'll use them well this time.
I don't actually know what's going to happen to the Ponds, except that it's their last episode tomorrow. Managed to be relatively unspoiled! I really really like them, so I hope it's a happy ending :(
