(Legitimately all that's been going through my head for the past 30 minutes^)
HI LIVEJOURNAL IT'S BEEN A WHILE
I've mostly fallen off the face of the earth here with updating my journal, but I've been pretty consistently keeping up to date with my flist over the... *checks*.. five months since I last posted. Five months?? Wow, oops. I've been here mostly, which is where you'll be able to track my embarrasing yet thorougly delightful fall into One Direction fandom, if that sort of thing interests you.
(Oh yeah, that's a thing that happened, One Direction fandom. When it started I knew there was a 50/50 chance I wouldn't care about them in 3 days. Clearly that didn't happen, and four months later I'm still in the fandom. New single comes out next week and I might drown in feelings.)
EXCEPT FOR HOW I WON'T, BECAUSE I'M ALREADY DROWING IN FEELINGS, THANKS MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. Which brings me to the reason I made this post.
CONVENTIONAL WEAPONS
Wherein Frank/MCR is the ultimate OTP, and he talks about four years ago after The Black Parade was done, and how he felt like the band was going to be over, and then eventually ends with this:
Recently we had a band meeting, we ended up talking about the past, and together we listened to those songs we created almost 4 years ago. We discussed the the way those songs made us feel, how they led us to where we are now and what the fate of those songs should be. How can we fully move on if we continue to hide the past? Together we decided that this chapter in My Chemical Romance's history no longer needed to be locked away.
So beginning in October we will be releasing 2 songs a month for 5 months. 10 songs in total from the Conventional Weapons sessions we did back in 2009. We hope you enjoy these time capsules, and that they may shed a little more light on how and where Danger Days came from, and maybe even where the future of MCR might be heading. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...and now it is finally time to lift the veil on Conventional Weapons.

THANKS FRANK. I'm just going to be over here, running around my house at 3am too excited to sleep. No big deal, not like I have reasons to be up early tomorrow. (I actually do have a reason to be up- I've started as a stagehand for an amateure theatre company in my area, and there's a matinee and night performance tomorrow! Everyone else there is super experienced but I'm new to it and it's all so exciting :D)
Ok, yay! It's nice to update again... Tumblr's fun and shiny but I miss being here. It's uni holidays now so I might even update again, semi-regularly, WHO KNOWS. It might be about One Direction, just.. putting that out there as a warning. :D
