(no subject)
I've got a new moodtheme! Also my first moodtheme, but whatever. I'm just impressed I was able to follow the instructions for getting it all working, which included uploading 132 gifs to my Photobucket account, and using the LJ Admin console to "execute commands", plus changing code on the notepad in the file holding the gifs. IDC IF THAT'S SUPER SIMPLE, IT'S MASSIVE FOR ME. \o/

White Collar is being delightful and TERRIBLE, OMG. KELLER KIDNAPPED EL. OH NO HE DIDN'T. HE'S SO BEYOND DEAD, IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. I'm so excited to see Peter and Neal be badasses and to see EL be badass, 'cause I know she will. OT3 OF AMAZING. KIDNAPPING: BRINGS THE BEST OUT OF EVERYBODY. It's probably one of my favourite TV tropes, up there next to being-handcuffed-to-each-other (hi there, Sherlock S2).
Also, I want to say that I totally called this. I knew they had to threaten/ put El in danger at some point soon! Although I didn't guess it would be the half-finale, I thought it would just be the plot of an episode later in the season. Not that I'm complaining! I love that White Collar fandom loves El. It's pretty unusual in a slash fandom, so I appreciate it. Although, the fandom still has room to improve on the hating-on-Sara front, and if we're talking about this, the show still has to make up for the treatment of Kate's character (who was fridged after getting next to no character development and existed purely to fuel the male protagonist's story). Diana is awesome, though! So... I guess it balances out? I know they're doing much better than a whole lot of other shows out there, in any case.
(I'm not actually worried about El dying cause I know she has more stuff to do this season, and USA wouldn't break the most functional marriage on TV. There ain't no White Collar without Peter/El, who I ship more than... pretty much everyone.) I must say though, kudos to White Collar for topping themselves on cliffhangers each season. Don't know how they'll beat this next year...
As a side note, my other hardcore canon ship would be Amy/Rory, except for that one I AM worried because, well. How likely is it that they'll both survive to old age? This is Doctor Who, c'mon.
