Today is the FIRST TIME I've heard about the Glam Nation tour coming down to Australia, and after very excitedly searching it up I find this
What the crap is that?
There are many factors that would have stopped me from going, including but not limited to the Wednesday night slot, the 18+, the cost, the fact that I don't know anyone who would be caught dead at an Adam Lambert concert, etc. However, I think that giant SOLD OUT emblazoned across the top is the most depressing insulting.
Also, I am not very impressed with the Metro Theater. They're the ones who dangled the We Are Scientists and The Magic Numbers sideshows for Splendour in front of my face, before smugly announcing they were both 18+. I suppose they have less floor space than even the Enmore, and thus need to limit the numbers, but really. I feel that this is a little unfair. (I know, I know, be patient, but patience is not one of my virtues.)
I wonder if this happening was foretold in my dreams over the past few nights where I had access to both Eskimo Joe and MUSE tickets, and yet somehow managed to pass up both for various sundry reasons. My concert karma isn't looking very good, is it? I am deprived. : (
