I had a really amazing day with my family today. We hung out in the backyard, played a quasi-netball game, lay on the grass and looked at the clouds. Then we ate lunch at 4:00. In the evening, there was a sudden downpour of rain and we realised all the clothes were still on the line so we dashed out to take them down. We ended up completely soaked. The rain was so heavy, oh my gosh. Getting soaked by rain is super fun, you guys. I get so giddy. (I may add, though, it is infinitely more fun when you are not holding a folder full of school books and/or electrical equipment.)
A couple of videos:
Stephane being a goofball. Getting a K-pop song stuck in your head is not a good thing when you don't even know the lyrics. "I want your call" sounds suspiciously like something else, which the ontd_skating people gleefully pointed out. No, I am not going to say what. Also, that dude dancing around on the left is Johnny's choreographer. Yes, they (Johnny and... David Wilson, I think?) get on like birds of a feather. It was pretty funny watching them work together, and attempting to put hip swivels into Johnny's Olympic routine (the one where he wore that pink and black corset thing) only to have them swiftly removed by Galina, Johnny's coach. *g*
Tenth Doctor Fanvid. I really liked how this one captured the development of Ten's character, how he came to realise his power and maybe go a little crazy with it towards the end. The beginning is my favourite though, the unbridled glee that Ten exudes, the amazement with which he views the world.
I was feeling tired and ready to go to bed when I found a Johnny/Stephane kid!fic on the wintergames meme. IT IS SO AWESOME. Tiny Suisse Kidlets! Johnny! Stephane! Accidental domesticity! Stephane has become my faaavourite.
I totally spent an hour watching clips of him on some french cooking show, never mind the fact that I don't understand French at all. His girly shriek when he messed up the double flip of the crepe made up for it. And his attempt to do an arabesque-type move in the middle of the tiny kitchen (which inexplicably had candles) before being interrupted by the host (so they didn't burn the set down, I presume. Again, I don't understand French). Watching him crying on the podium when he won his silver medal in 2006 made my day. He's so cute!
I really need to re-organise my tags. And get out of the habit of making tags that I only use once. It makes things so messy.
