i'm sore in more ways than one. i think i slept all of 4 hours after babysitting last night. then i went to the north to paint and lots of little kids were there and it was loud andcrazy. i liked it much better when it was just us high school kids. we had fun w/o giving me a headache. and my knees killed. then i went to grab a bite with kella at perks cuz it was really late and i hadnt had lunch. i drank my 2nd perks hot cocoa for the day. then i got home took a shower (i smelled like a can of paint: it being all over my cloths, why wouldnt i?) then i took a nap. that was my day.

oh and of course you know the first person i need to see this morning was at rehearsal! my goodness! why? i mean you havent helped before why start now? this is my thing! you dont do anything anyways. ok its not "my thing" persay but i was the one who did the hard stuff getting the kids to memerize their lines and get the little kids not to be nervous. and you come two weeks before the show and get all the credit, cuz thats the way it works. ok that was my jealous rant but i had to get it out somewhere didnt i?

then... i dont know.... it was weird. i just wish everything would go back to the way i liked it. its horrible... to miss someone that is. i'll miss him and he'll be standing right next to me. its a different kind of feeling.

but for some reason we're trapped in a traffic jam. ok metaphor time: there is a car at one end of the highway and a car parked at a reststop that that car has to get to. but there is a traffic jam is between them. it theory you could get thru by just pressing your foot on the gas peddle and going, but the traffic stops you from that way. then you try to get into the breakdown lane. that doesnt work either. then a as last resort you pretend you have a medical condition and need to get to the hospital right away. and still nobody moves.

by now anyone who just read that is lost. well ok the traffic is society. and it todays society for some reason or another people cant say what they feel even when its important becuase it would be "too weird" or "not socially correct". i dont know but thats my take on it. and then the cars well those are ppl obviously. and then all the stuff that one car tried to get thru the traffic with was all the stuff that society says is not acceptable and they would let the car thru.

metaphorical solution: get out of the car and walk. walk thru all the traffic. you'll get there even if people blow their horns at you and swear at you as you go past.

see we have a solution. but the solution only works in the metaphor, becuase i havent figured out how to translate that solution into a real one for a real problem.

i must have a very strange way about thinking things but metaphors work for me. not the poetic kinda of course

feedback would be helpful - that is if you arent lost
