I got summoned for jury duty, so I reported this morning.  I got called in the first batch and voir dire was relatively quick.  I got chosen as a juror for a criminal trial.  I was amazed at how fast they moved; once I was chosen, the trial started in less than two minutes!  They went at it hard all day, and we'll probably finish up tomorrow.  I kind of like jury duty, actually.  It makes me feel like a Good Citizen.   The downside:  I can't take my phone or tablet, and the resulting frustration has led me to realize how completely gadgetry has invaded my life.  I feel so dirty.  : (

Also, I have a migraine.  Fuck off, brain.
