I definitely need to work on my conversation game. I think I have been spoiled by dating friends, given how there is already a shared history that we can fall back on ("Did you hear about so-n-so?"). Then again, perhaps there wasn't a lot of common ground that we were passionate about. Or there was, and we just didn't find it. Hmm. Anyway, it's a story/experience that I can check off the list.
