Starting over.... again
Well, now that I am free of a manipulative, suffocating, cheating asshole, it's time that I returned to my goals and figured out exactly what I want to do with my life. Here are the things that must be done in order...
1. I need to get my life organized within my new temporary residence and finish closing that chapter that has to do with a certan guy and an apartment in saint paul.
2. Figure out my finances in order for me to go back to school.
3. Sign up for voice lessons, continue swing dancing, get into theatre again, start writing again.
4. Apply for schools.
For those of you who do not know, I have decided to go back to school for Education. I am trying to decide between teaching English or K-8. I would eventually like to teach Drama at the College level. But this is where I'm starting. I would prefer to go to the U of M because I am told they have one of the best programs in the state for Education, but I may be forced to go to a Technical or Community college due to my financial restraints. I have already started swing dancing once a week with my partner Chris, and plan to continue doing that and hopefully even increasing the amount of practice we get. I also am starting voice lessons next week, and am also going to be possibly starting to help teach some classes for a theatre company that is owned by one of the contacts I know from Remax Results. That is a very exciting opportunity and could turn into something more than a volunteer thing. I am also taking it upon myself to brush up on my spanish again. I feel that it would be helpful to know as much spanish as I can in the teaching field and just about any other field in todays day and age. I feel there are alot of exciting things coming up and I truly look forward to them, I just hope I can get all the emotional, financial, and mental support from my family and friends that I will I need to get through this rough time and meet my goals with with strenghth and courage!
