Weekend! And stuff.
This past weekend, my parents took Ciar to Tampa. This is a tradition for them; every time they have a grandkid graduate from preschool they take the kid on an overnight fun trip. So I had just Len for the weekend, and we attempted to go climbing and ziplining at TreeUmph, but failed because we got rained out. We went to our hotel in Ruskin and enjoyed the pool and beach instead, and the next day we did the beach again and then off to Busch Gardens, which despite living in Florida for more than fifteen years, I had never been to.
We all had a great time on our respective trips.
This week, the kids are not home so I am taking the opportunity to finish cleaning their room up, and my mom is helping me paint it. The boys had picked out the color awhile ago and I already had the paint, so we were able to get a good start yesterday and Mom is going to continue today while I am at work. Dad is on a road trip with Fred right now.
