Writing Progress

Writing PTWT is like slipping into a pair of well-loved jeans. I'm still a little in shock about how natural it feels after the jarring on again, off again progress on some of my recent attempts at different stories. I'm really looking forward to this one because Gabriel gets a much bigger role. He's probably my favorite secondary character after Jersey, mostly because he's sexy in an I-love-you-but-I-might-go-crazy-and-murder-everyone-you-know kind of way. Actually, that's not sexy in the least. heh.

Anyways, finished chapter two today. I had to do some rearranging with my outline (already). Here's the stats -

4385 / 65000 words. 7% done!

Over at Deadline Dames (http://www.deadlinedames.com/?p=1197) Lilith Saintcrow posted about writing. While I agree with her on basically everything, I LOVE Super Notecard. Technically it's not a writing program but it helps me so much. Before I had notes scattered over multiple binders and loose papers but now it's all in one neat place. It took me a little bit to get used to the cross-referencing aspect of it but now I use it for everything from character profiles to outlines (such as they are).
