here come the weddings again
attended 1.2 weddings on saturday night ... sat through a full wedding dinner in orchard before rushing off to congratulate another couple just as they were saying goodbye to guests. found someone who really stuck to the rules of the "i kissed dating goodbye" book and asked the parents of the girl he was interested in (now his wife) for permission to go out with her. old-fashioned but sweet and very respectful to the girl and her parents. was watching the bride's father during the groom's speech, and saw him tearing up ... awww. wasn't hard to see why.
also hit the shops in orchard on saturday afternoon in hope of adding to the wardrobe, but came away empty handed because nothing caught my eye ... sigh. i want more dresses! there's only so many times i can recycle dresses for wedding dinners and other more formal occasions ya? :D
the europe trip is in limbo. as a result, short holiday plans are in limbo! circumstances are conspiring to prevent me from taking leave, but i need to take a break to find my inner gump.
