We're Idiots?
B found a small box of old photos this weekend. In the box was also I letter I wrote to her in July of 1979. In it I mention our then current pets. Cameron, Swayzie (cats), Chris & Tuffy (dogs). The key point on this was that we had Swayzie in 1979. Swayzie passed in 2001. We thought he was 15 or 16. Doh! He was at least 23! And I had been wondering why I knew so many people with cats in their 20's and we had never achieved that milestone. It's because we can't remember when our fuzzy friends were born! For the record Vansen & Shoalin were born in 1998; so Vansen will be 15 in August.
Tonight I am grateful that we have an actual Date & Time when we can go visit Lycan! July 20th, 2pm. (Okay I'm not so grateful that it isn't July 13th.) I am grateful for a good workout at PT (I am so sore!) I am grateful for a continuing good attitude at work.
Next question...How long have I been journaling at LJ?
P.S. I never did get a cold last week, it was just a 3 day allergy attack. I didn't sprain my thumb, just tweaked it, it was fine 2 days later. Now, must take Tylenol for very sore knees.
