Monday, Monday

It's Monday. I'm tired. Even though Goldie left in mid-afternoon, I still stayed up too late. I *must* stop doing that. Really, MUST.
Back is bothering me today. Not sure if it's a muscle spasm, a kidney stone, or a UTI. None of them are good options. =(
M is outside cutting up the Xmas trees that spent the winter under the back steps. Yard waste starts this Friday so they'll go out with the rest of the winter branches.

Right now I'm just waiting for M to come in, and B to come home so we can watch The Amazing Race. I ended up just downloading it from iTunes for $1.99 Cheaper & easier then having Goldie mail us a DVD, and now we can watch my iPad connected to the TV. Yea!

Stupid stuff with my health insurance. My current Sleep people and my DME's company have just dropped out of my network. (Durable Medical Equipment, aka my CPap) So if I don't want to pay 30% instead of 10% of the costs, I have to find a new DME provider. Apparently I will also have to give my machine back to my current DME provider, and get a new machine from the new provider. Which will result in a restart on the 10 month rent-to-own clock, too. I've already been paying on this one... well, I've had it for 4 months, but they've only billed me twice so far (the next bill will come next week). Still that's $265 I'll have to shell out again. Boo hiss. I LOVE CPAP2Go and my DME rep Johnathon. But CPap parts need replacing every few months and they are NOT cheap. We're talking several hundred every year so that 20% difference will add up quickly. I'm not happy. And I'm not happy with how they handled "transition" either. There is a default provider that you get assigned to if you don't choose a new provider for yourself, and *they* are the ones who called me to let me know what was going on. I didn't trust them and it took a few phone calls to Humana to get the skinny on what was happening. There was supposed to have been a letter, but I never got one. I checked out the default provider online, and there were 2 Google reviews for the company; both were horrible. I don't think I'll be choosing the default guys. Time to do more insurance research. *Sigh*

And that's enough for one day. Now, who will be elimated...tonight?!

insurance, tar, health
