Happy Sunday
Last night we stayed up way too late talking. It was after 1:30 before we went to bed.
Had a great Sunday with goldiebug. B made us omlets for breakfast, after which we played a cutthroat game of "Survive: Escape from Atlantis!" Goldie won by 6 pts. Then we tried out my new Chrononauts card game. It was a bit complex, but playing one round with open hands helped us figure it out and it was fun. We'll definitely play it again.
We had a quick lunch and then took Goldie to the local game store, Board Game Barristers. They had "Survive" in stock, so Goldie could pick up her own copy. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Squid expansion pack in stock. After browsing the store and discussing lots of fun games (R2D2 Trouble, anyone?) Finally, it was well past time for Goldie to hit the road for her 8 hour drive back to Ohio.
The only fly in our day's ointment, is that we didn't get tonight's episode of The Amazing Race. When did Harry's Law switch to Sundays. Boo hiss. I hope we can watch the episode online. If not, maybe Goldie can burn us a copy.
