pimpin' for volunteers again -- massage and homeopathy

1. anyone out there with repetitive strain injury (RSI) and/or thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) who is willing to let me practice therapeutic massage on them? last weekend i completed a two-day advanced course aimed at treating these issues, and now i need to practice in order to cement the session sequence and techniques into my memory. ideally, we'll schedule multiple (2-4) sessions...that way i can solicit your feedback about what's working, what's not, and what new issues turn up as the existing ones are relieved. massage work will focus primarily on hands, wrists, arms and shoulder girdle, although this might vary by session, depending on how your body responds. each session will last approximately one hour.

2. i have ordered some instructional materials for thai massage, and i'm looking for people who are interested in being my guinea pig as i run through the books and dvd. since thai massage is a kind of assisted yoga, these sessions will be done on a mat on the floor. most likely, each session will cover only a single sequence...or maybe two sequences, so we can balance out the work on your body. i'll know more about that when i get the materials and have a chance to review them. volunteers for these sessions will not be needed until mid-to-late september, but i'd like to get the sessions scheduled now because i know how busy you all are!

3. finally, is there anyone out there who's interested in trying out homeopathy? school starts next month, and i need 2-3 people (possibly more?) to volunteer as case studies so i can meet my clinic requirements. you must commit to an initial consult (2-3 hours) plus at least three follow up visits of one hour each. ideally, you'll continue treatment until the end of the school year and/or into my fourth and final year of schooling, which would enable me to submit your case as one of my graduation / national certification requirements.

let me know if you're interested in helping me out with any of this stuff. i really appreciate your willingness to put your bodies and your health in my hands!
