hey, are any of you (still) interested in meeting up for pie? my next class weekend is coming up -- it's the 31-March/01-April weekend. i get out of class at 5:30pm each day, so if you want to meet me afterwards at mission pie for something sweet (or savory), let me know. i figure we can meet sometime between 6:00pm and 6:30pm.

Oh, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do this at all now. I forgot there's a deathmarch that Saturday and (perhaps foolishly) I'm going on a hike up Mission Peak on Sunday if the weather's nice.

oh, mission peak! that's down here in my neck of the woods. it's a nice hike...you'll definitely get a work out. have you hiked it before? if not, definitely wear sun block because the sun can beat down on you on that hillside.

about the pie -- there will be other opportunities for sure. thanks for letting me know!

I've never hiked it before, I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the tip on the sunblock, I surely would have forgotten and roasted!

ok, by "nice" i mostly meant it's a good workout. of course, depending on how slow or fast you walk, it can actually be quite strenuous, since it's all uphill. the trail (which is really more of a road) is pretty boring itself, but there are great views of the valley for those times when you stop and rest
