Ready for the weekend and other things
I had a very busy Thursday due to shipments coming to the retailers. I am ready for the weekend. This weekend I am going to the Baltimore Mariners playoff game tomorrow along with the usual things and Anime USA work tonight or tomorrow.
I may have a change in job title and the chance to make more money because I applied for a different position at my current company this week. I doubt it will happen though as the last time this position was offered it was consolidated instead of filled. All I can do is my best with the interview and we will see what happens.
I must say that New York Comic Con/Anime Festival and Otakon hit some home runs that Anime USA could only dream of this week. NYAF is bringing to the East Coast for the first time Minori Chihara (Voice of Yuki Nagato in Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Otakon is bringing the director and character designer of Welcome to the Space show. I will be at Otakon and am seriously considering going to NYAF/NYCC on Saturday and Sunday of the show.
I may have to wait until right before the show to commit to it because I have to see the October Meeting schedule for Anime USA. That is a time we are hitting crunch time for the con and making those meetings matter alot more than the one I missed two weeks ago.
