first entry of the new year!
hey everyone!
wow, first entry of 2006! so much has gone on in the past month and a half! "Footloose" is going very well; however, people are choosing not to come to rehearsals, which is making my director very angry, and will eventually cause her to start cutting people from the cast and adding in people who don't even go to my High School. I made the mistake of missing a rehearsal a few nights ago, but it wasn't on purpose, and I'll apologize to my director this morning when I see her at set design.
despite the fact that my band recruited a drummer late last year, I had to kick him out because he was being very unreliable. Liz (my violinist) and I were rehearsing in preparation for the upcoming school talent show, and our drummer didn't show up to rehearsal, nor did he call me to let me know he couldn't make it. Liz and I tried out for the talent show this past Wednesday, and sadly enough, we didn't make it. I was very upset, but at least we're going to perform in the annual Java Jam (where we first performed as a duo when we were Freshmen) in a little less than 2 weeks.
