This morning I got a call from my old boss asking if I would be willing to come in for an interview for the library job I applied to two weeks ago.
*does happy dance*
My whole month just got ten times better. I feel like I can finally breathe again.
Of course, now begins the obsessive worrying over the upcoming interview, made worse by the fact that I'll probably know everyone who is interviewing me. But right now I'm going to bask in my happiness and just...let it be.
On the geekier side of things, I'm burning the Windows 7 RC onto DVD for an install over my previous Vista installation. I never used Vista and after listing my specs in my last post I realized that all of my RAM is being wasted on my 32-bit machine. The easiest solution was to download Windows 7 as a 64-bit install and go from there.
Anyway, I've been itching to do a clean OS install lately and this will hit the spot. Windows 7 is the future of Windows after all and from early reports it's a great OS, especially for gamers. Worth a shot.
