New Who has made no reference to the half-human thing, right? re: that, I might be paying too much attention to some of the denialists at YouTube (who, admittedly, may have legit points that the Doctor changed quite a bit between the old series and the movie/new Who).

Of course, it would be nice in some ways if the movie wasn't canon, since Nine would be Eight, Ten would be Nine (depriving us of a perfectly good play on DT's stage name, but you can't have everything), and Eleven would be Ten and we'd get another regeneration. Mwahaha.

Are books/comics really debated as being part of canon in WhoDom? Most of my media spinoff book experience is with Trek, where I don't think most of the fandom considers the books canon. I asked about it once and the answer seemed to be somewhere along the 'no' and 'whatever you want to be canon' spectrum. :p

Oooh, BSG. *mandatory wibble* There was the first one, then the Galactica 1980, then Ron Moore's BSG...right?

(Good thing even though it delayed me on the homework by ten minutes or so. I really needed the distraction. I've never been miserable or close to hysterical tears or felt so unworthy of my course of study this much in my life. And it's making me lose sleep, dammit. But yeah. Good thing. Definitely good thing.)

Oooh, thank you... *makes plans for the screwdriver for later*

Sonic mouth pr0n... guh. And neck. And... *wibble* *thud*
