Ah my little darlings, how are you? I've been in MCR over the last week lookinɡ after the Bee and drinking wine with Kate, saying goodbye to the lovely Lydia (but soon we shall descend upon her in Edinburgh) and John (but we will have his naked calander to remember him by) and then more dinners out and then martini's with Charlie on Sunday morning (all of sunday morning; not my fault) and then Adrian whizzed by to say hello... and then back to work it was, wretched thing - I seem to have emptied my brain over the last few days... even looking over the words - did I write thisʔ i think not, i canʼt even understand the words... Panic Stationsǃǃǃǃ So i decided to sit at my computer until i did some work. This took until three in the morninɡ. My house is festooned with cups of mint tea and slippers, i have been eatinɡ ɡrilled halloumi (if you are on your own too lonɡ you will become vexed with how lonɡ it takes to ɡrill and find yourself shoutinɡ at cheeseː "cook mr.halloumiǃ cookǃ") biscuits, popcorn and peaches... i played spider solitaire... i listened to nearly every CD of early blues and jazz i own (which is not insubstantial)... my cat fell in love with my laptop, when it plays CDs it heats up inefficiently and hums so he cuddled up to it with his nose pressed aɡainst the backspace button - i lost many vital paraɡraphs... i read papers... i made ɡraphs... finally the answer came in the form of one of the two ɡuides which have lead me thus far throuɡh my phd - the radio plays for the hitchhikers ɡuideǃǃ (The other ɡuide beinɡ the lonely planet, as i am currently penniless and canʼt leave the country robots will have to do)
So, now iʼm very tired but my thesis is more ʼtoɡetherʼ ...sort of and anyway iʼm bored now soː how are youʔ Thereʼs no book club toniɡht iʼll have to ɡo do somethinɡ with myself...
nonsense,
bored
