And, after two and a half hours of poring over my lab study guide and only answering one and a half questions, the only sentiment left in my brain is AND SO'S YOUR MOM.
I've decided why. My parents/my tutors are wrong. I'm not hesitant to talk. If I have something to say, I'll say it...but I just can't force myself to talk if I don't. Turns out I don't have much to say, both in and out of class...but that's fine. Not everybody needs to talk. I like listening better anyway.
It's funny how library work-study used to be a coveted position. Right now, frankly, I'd rather be chipping hardened scrambled egg off a frying pan. I know the rest of campus must be sick as hell of hearing the librarians bitch about this. But the whole thing could be ignored if we were just allowed to do our work. No such luck? Damn.
My father just emailed me to tell me that if I didn't start talking in class and earning As, he'll talk in my classes for me when he comes to visit in March. Yeah, and he'd do it too.
