How to start this gargantuan entry....
Saturday:
1:30 PM: Got called to a general meeting in the commons and were told that the fire had picked back up and that we should be ready for evacuation should the order come.
5:00 PM: Went to watch the Notre Dame-MSU game and left in dispair at halftime, only to learn later that THEY TURNED AROUND AND CREAMED THOSE SUCKERS!!!!! which I was remided of twenty-eight times in the next five hours by Tim. Notre Dame rocks.
7:30 PM: I left my dorm to go to the junior-freshman dance and noticed that the boys of Peter and Paul dorm were engaging in what seemed to be a tribal war chant, complete with bongos. When I asked what was going on, I was told that they were "calling the fire." I turned around to look at the hills and SAW FLAMES. I believe it was Brenna who suggested that we should sacrifice a virgin to Pele.
10:15 PM: After watching Matt Grimm in drag and etc., and While partaking in shish kebobs and enjoying the dance, we were suddenly interrupted by a friendly message from the dean telling us to RUN FOR THE HILLS. After a lot of standing around at the Red Cross junction, almost everyone had been farmed out to various families and the rest of us were given army cots.
4:00 AM: A lot of my classmates talk in their sleep.
Sunday:
9:00 AM: Endured Mass. Yipes.
10:30 AM: Went with about twelve other people to a friend's house and I love that family SO MUCH.
Monday:
Back at campus. Oh, and today's classes? CANCELLED! Tomorrow's seminar? CANCELLED! Fire? CANCELLED!
