This was a mere four years ago. Back then I wondered aloud, “Could this man ever be President?”

I figured it would happen, someday. I didn’t realize that day would come so soon.

I know I don’t say much around here. But that should be enough for tonight.

The thought of a McCain presidency makes me want to puke.

I wish I had something more insightful to say. That’ll have to wait.

Bush and co. talk about progress in Iraq, how the surge has been working and all that, but they’re still too scared to announce their visits in advance. Prudent of them, surely, and about the only acknowledgement we get from this administration that things aren’t going as well as they could be.

Just a little food for thought.
