Crazy Weather

I was in the big city this afternoon, attending my friend Larry's magic show. About 4, I headed home and the bank thermometer read 74 degrees! In December!! About 20 minutes later I get a text message from the weather channel saying that there was a winter weather advisory

The weather changed with the quickness, didn't it? Yesterday - early afternoon - we had close to 70 degrees and sunshine. By dark, it was ass-freezing cold with sleet and rain, and today, school is cancelled (here), the roads are covered with a sheet of ice, and the temperatures are in the low 20's (without the wind chill).

But hey, the power is still on, so. Not griping. *g*
