Crazy Weather
I was in the big city this afternoon, attending my friend Larry's magic show. About 4, I headed home and the bank thermometer read 74 degrees! In December!! About 20 minutes later I get a text message from the weather channel saying that there was a winter weather advisory.
I was working in my church office on my grad homework, and I hear the wind blowing and rain hitting the windows. I don't like staying there with no way to see out when it's storming, so I packed up my laptop and headed for my car.
That unseasonably warm weather I was enjoying this afternoon, with the sunroof cracked? Well, the sunroof was still open, and the inside of my car was wet.
I'm secretly hoping for a snow day tomorrow, it would be so great to finish this writing class before the deadline.
