Goodbyes bite.
Some of my student workers have been trickling through after their last exams, coming to pick up their paychecks before they go out and drink their faces off in celebration.
It's really sad to say goodbye as they head off to medical schools around the country.
Josh, one of my pet students, gave me some Rocher chocolates and a big hug, along with many blushes and effusive thanks for my help with his essays.
Now I smell like Wisconsin farmboy, all fresh and soapy.
And I'm very, very sad.
