that is a quote from Roger Waters, whom I will be seeing close up on Oct 12 2006. It will be the last date of his tour, and perhaps the last time he will perform live. This shit excuse for a city named Seattle will be blessed for a day with his presence. I've had enough, and Waters is the perfect way to go out. I cannot begin to add up the accumulated hatred, alienation, misunderstandings, and flakiness that has marked my journey in this city. It has not ended, nor will it, so let me do the bidding.

Seattle is full of scared people. Even online, people are terrified to hear the viewpoints of others. Friends are left in the dust. Phone calls aren't returned. Reasonable behavior is blackened by a fire of indifference. Humanity and the society it creates becomes a cancer unto itself. I no longer want to participate.
