Infatuation - Chapter 7 [ShouxGackt]
I spent the whole day at work just wanting to get out as early as I could so I can go pick up Shou for lunch. I guess you could say I was a little bit excited. Okay, I was really excited. Plus, I don’t really want to be here. Everyone’s noticing the unnatural glow of happiness I had on my face and they’re teasing me about it like we were high school students barely out of junior high.
I couldn’t help it. I was happy for the first time in a very long while. I felt right with him and I couldn’t care less if Shou was a man. Just the way he moves, the way he sings, smiles, looks, sleeps, breath even is just flawless to me. Completely and utterly perfect.

“Why do you keep on looking at your watch, Shou?” Saga teased.
“You waiting for someone?” He continued, he just couldn’t get enough. He’s been like this all morning. Teasing me non-stop as soon as I got in a little late this morning. I guess that's probably why. Oh My! Shou got in after we all got in. What was he doing?! OMG?! Gossip… gossip… gossip. Saga is such a girl sometimes.
“Shou, I just noticed. Who’s clothes are you wear? They’re most definitely not your size and I’ve never seen you in them before.” Tora asked with a curious look about him.
“No one in particular” I answered with a small smile.
“So they’re really not yours?” He asked again.
“No, I borrowed them for a day” I smiled some more.
I ignored them and tried to change the subject before Tora and Saga starts forcing me to talk like a lame as interrogation from a B rated cop movie. 1 more hour and I’ll be with him, just 1 more hour. I won’t let anyone ruin how happy I am.
“Lets continue, I want to hear how Sleepwalker sounds with the new mix” I said as I ran through the lyrics one more time before motioning to the guys to start playing.
I let the music drown me slowly as I started feeling like I was floating while I closed my eyes, then I moved my head forward and back really feeling the aggressiveness of the music and beat. I let in the sound of the bass and sang along with it.

I slowly felt my body automatically sway along with the music as Hiroto came in with the solo.

I sung the last verse and let the music fade before I opened my eyes and said
“That was great guys! I think that’ll do, what do you guys think” They all nod in agreement. Great! Now, to wait for… The moment I turned around in the direction of my bag so I could get it, I found Gackt watching me from the booth with a grin on his face as he waved, he wore a white tank top that hugged his muscles just right with a white button up shirt that made him look sexier than ever. I don’t know how I got to him that fast but I did.
“Hey…” I said softly, I somehow hoped he’d just grab me and hug me already.
“Hey yourself” He answered; I can feel the tension between us.
“You were amazing! Is that a new song?” He asked taking my hand in his.
“Yea” I said blushing a bit, before I got fed up and gave in to the temptation and pulled Gackt in an embrace.
“I missed you.” I whispered as I hugged him tight, inhaling his scent in. It was musky, it smelt like shampoo mixed with something else, something I’ve never smelt before. Whatever it was, it smelt good.
“I missed you too,” He answered kissing me right below the ear. It made me shiver and I know he felt it.
“I knew it!” Tora yelled from behind me.
“You owe me 10 Saga” Hiroto said while he held out his hand.
“Dammit” Saga let out a hiss of frustration.
“How’d he land that when I couldn’t?! Argh” He continued and I heard Nao giggle in the background before he said.
“I knew, Shou was going to get the best” he whispered to Hiro.
“You’re always right! That’s why you’re the bestest to me, baby” He replied rubbing noses together with Nao.
“GUYS!” I yelled.
“Don’t talk about me like I’m not here!” I continued shooting them a furious look while all they did was give me innocent looks.
“Are you guys going to tell us? Or are we going to have to speculate for ourselves?” Tora asked folding his arms against his chest.
Gackt and me exchanged looks before he grabbed me by the waist and replied.
“We’re dating,” he said rather proudly as he nuzzled my cheek with a grin on his face. I only smiled as I nodded.
“That wasn’t so hard now was it?” Tora said with a little smirk on his face.
“You better not hurt him or you’ll have hell to pay for,” Saga said with eyes shooting daggers at Gackt. He was obviously jealous. Tsk.
“I think we should go, I’m starving,” I complained before Gackt could say anything else to Saga. I didn’t want to see what would have happened if I let this go on.
“Of course” He answered. We said our good-byes and left.

I missed Shou too much to even wait another hour before actually leaving work. I finished whatever I could and just left. ‘I should pick up something special for him, before I pick him up’ I said to myself.
By the time I got the Shous studio, it was already 5 past 1pm. I was hoping to surprise him. Well, I got that covered. I got into the mix booth with out a scratch they were in the middle of practice and knowing Shou. When he’s in the zone you can’t zap him out of it until he’s done being in the zone. I know how that feels.
I watched him once again sway to the music, his hips swaying from right to left as his hands follows along with the wave as he began to sing with his enchanting voice. I didn't recognize the song. But it sounded really good. The music was perfect, the bass, the drums, the guitars and vocals. They’ve got another hit on their hands.
“That was great guys! I think that’ll do, what do you guys think” I heard Shou ask as they ended the song. They all nod in agreement. He smiles at them then turns around and when he did I watched his eyes go wide then soften. I grinned and waved. I could have sworn Shou ran to me. He made it to me too fast for me to notice
“Hey…” he said softly, he looked so yummy in my clothes.
“Hey yourself” I answered; I just wanted to push him against the wall and ravish him. Okay… get a hold of yourself Gackto. Say something else.
“You were amazing! Is that a new song?” I asked as I took his hand in mine. Hmmm… soft skin. Not the kind to ever hold an instrument.
“Yea” He replied before he gave in and hugged me tight.
“I missed you.” He whispered in my ear, his breath hovering over the soft skin, made me warm all over.
“I missed you too,” I answered giving him a lingering kiss right below the ear just to make him feel as hot as I feel right now.
I heard a few screams in the background. Seemed like either half the band was expecting it or not, like Saga for example. He seemed like he didn’t like it one bit.
“GUYS!” Shou yelled.
“Don’t talk about me like I’m not here!” He shot daggers as soon as he spoke. Cute.
“Are you guys going to tell us? Or are we going to have to speculate for ourselves?” Tora asked folding his arms against his chest.
I grabbed Shous waist while I still stared at him.
“We’re dating,” I said proudly as I nuzzled Shou’s cheek with a grin on my face.
“That wasn’t so hard now was it?” Tora said.
“You better not hurt him or you’ll have hell to pay for,” Saga said with eyes shooting daggers at me. Woah. What did I do? I was surprised at the statement. I didn’t expect that one bit. I wanted to say something but Shou spoke first.
“I think we should go, I’m starving,” “Of course” I answered. We said our good-byes and left.
“What was that about?” I asked Shou opening the door of the passenger seat for him.
“Sagas just jealous cause I managed to get you and he couldn’t,” He answered smiling cutely, poking his nose up in the air at his firm accomplishment. I laughed lightly at his expression.
“I almost forgot, here” I said as I sat myself in the drivers seat and pulled out an elephant Lubie from the glove compartment and handed it to Shou. He instantly grabbed it and squealed, “Oh my GOD! It's a Lubie! Its sooo cute! Oh my God Gaku! Its just soo freakin cute! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” he hugged me then planted butterfly kisses all over in between thank yous. He was so adorable I couldn’t help but lean in and capture his lips while he stared at his new toy.
I was surprised to see him so hyper over a little stuffed toy.
“Hmm” he moaned as we broke the kiss.
“What was that for?” He asked.
“For being adorable” “Am not” “Are too” and before he could say anything else I caught his lips again. This time the kiss was longer; my tongue played with his lips a little. I wanted to have a taste of what was inside, he granted me entrance and my tongue explored. He was the one to break the kiss this time.
“And that?” he asked in a low voice
“Just wanted a taste,” I replied my lips still hovering over his.
“I think you’re getting a little too hungry, Gaku” He said in a teasing way. I smiled at the nickname. “Perhaps I am getting a little too hungry” I answered him in a low voice as I leaned in to capture his lips again to only fail as Shous finger stopped my lips from advancing. “Nu uh, later” He said, I growled to myself.
He’s going to drive me mad.
