A girl...

Why is it a guy believes they know more about a girls wants and desires then the girl does? I've seen so many things posted by guys saying 'when a girl does or says this, it means this' sorta thing and everytime it makes me want to snarl in frustration. Are females so lowly ranked that males believe we're unable to speak our own minds? Do they think we fear or admire them so much that our lungs lock up when we try to speak so what comes out doesn't actually mean what the words form? I have news for all you boys out there; a girl will tell you what she thinks and only that.

Sometimes we say 'I'm fine' and what we want is for someone to care enough to say 'tell me the truth', but we make that obvious with our tone. It is not a big victory if you can read sorrow in a girls eyes; we show such emotions very well. Along with anger and glee.

Consider yourself lucky if we hold your hands, because a lot of guys don't ever get that. A hand holding is a big thing, even bigger then a kiss. It means we want your contact and not specifically your body. It means we want you, and not the pleasure of, well...other things =) A kiss and some time in bed is nothing. We'd enjoy that no matter who it is beside us. But a hand hold is only enjoyable when with someone we actually love.

Don't ever use the excuse 'well, she was dressed like a slut' because, even though I don't personally approve of that style, not all showy dressers are actually whorish girls. Some have fine morals and merely find pleasure in wearing tight clothing. Never does a shirt skirt give permission for a butt squeeze, nor does a lowcut shirt scream 'free for all' for a males lingering eyes.

I am not entirely sure where this came from....perhaps reading through one of my more feminine friends old LiveJournals...she has many 'a girl says this but means this' passages (most orginally created by boys or future prostetutes, no doubt) so I guess I was just urked by that. Sorry for the junk.
